Time @ 4:02 PM Dear all, I don't have a poem for you today like I usually do, I just have some words. I hope they're enough~ Friendship is such a complicated aspect of life. Everyone has their own interpretation of the word. Meanings of the word vary vastly from one person to the next. Yes, I think that itself is well established. However, something that is less thought of is what being in a close relationship is. In other words, people don't usually consider and discuss what makes two people close, interlocked in an unbreakable bond of friendship. Most people would instantly consider communication as the defining factor. "They always text/call each other" is something that most people would define as close. I guess that is true to an extent but somehow, personally, I only consider that as more of a primary test. If two people can talk to each other, then of course, they will naturally become closer friends. However, that is not necessarily the question in consideration. My take is that when two people can stay close even without the desperate need to constantly exchange words with one another, then that is a good indication of a long lasting relationship. However, back to the original question. What exactly is it that makes an unbreakable relationship? If you are asking me, then I will be honest. I have no clue whatsoever. There are so many things which can define one, but it is not my place to lay down the parameters. It is just a question for your unoccupied minds if it ever is unoccupied. I will just conclude by saying this. Friends, close friends, are created over time. Whatever happens during this "time" does not matter. It is the time aspect itself which moulds two strangers into an everlasting duo. That is beyond doubt. But what can we do during this "time" to ensure that the bond we create is robust and mutual? That is the question. Attached is a picture of a wedding card my mum told me to buy for her friend. Marriage is a big step...how did they get that close? Goodbye all~ |

about me Oliver. Sometimes I strut around the house in my man-kini and fishnet stockings. Apart from that, I live under a rock. Girls are cute, boys are hot. Read if you want to, don't read if you don't want to. I have short hair. Is the world big or small? Are you and me significant or insignificant? Everything has two sides to it, discover both, make a statement unbiased. |
